the loco foco.

i dubbed my dad's side of the family "loco foco" back in 2001 due to the fact that we are a bunch of crazy mexicans (and a touch of Honduras for the Estrada's), but because my grandma got married 6 times leaving us with different last names, loco foco only seemed appropriate.

i visited the fam this weekend. we hit up two surprise parties, one on each side of the family.

the highlights: my nanny (mom's mom) booty dancing. ashley & i imitating austin show girls while dancing to "gimme more." planning my 21st bday party. doing the chicken dance. eating so much i looked prego. my dad & i getting low. possible radiohead tickets? anejo.

i love my family. when i see them, it reminds me that all this crazy nonsense that involves school isn't such a big deal. when you love people and they love you back for exactly who you are, you realize life is worth living.

i could be freaking out about a lot of things, but with weather like this, it's not possible.
